All SCA members are invited to hear Carol Way Wood interview Galen Snow. Galen will discuss her journey as an artist, her inspirations, and the fascinating working methods she has developed. She will even give us a glimpse of her beautiful studio, located right in her Little Compton back yard.

SCA member Galen V. Snow is a trained oil painter, whose artworks have evolved into what she calls paper montages. Galen’s “paint palettes” are made up of cut shards of paper, glued into shape, color, and texture to create a moment she has seen or lived in nature. Her works begin with a vision, flowing from within her onto the page with very little pre-meditation other than a subject and a thought.
