5th annual Holiday Exhibit at Cultural Center

We are excited to celebrate the holiday season with the 5th Annual Holiday Exhibition at the Dartmouth Cultural Center from Dec. 2-18. The cultural center is located in the heart of historic Padanaram Village, at 404 Elm Street, Dartmouth, MA.

The exhibit opens on Friday, December 2nd from 5 to 8 pm and refreshments will be served. Many of the artists will be on hand to discuss their work. The show will continue through Sunday, December 18th and gallery hours are 11am - 3pm Thursday through Saturday, and each Sunday from 11am - 4pm.

Art lovers are encouraged to visit and share the spirit of the South Coast community, by keeping it local. It’s a wonderful way to support local artists and the DCC at the same time. The exhibit is a free event and is open to the whole family. Bring your friends and discover the work of 43 exhibiting artists. A total of 125 smaller works of art are on display and are priced affordably for gift giving.

The Cultural Center is located in the former Southworth Library, a National Historic Landmark District building that opened in 1889. The stone structure is an architectural gem rooted in this beautiful section of South Dartmouth.

South Coast Artists, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, educates, represents, and supports artists living and working in the coastal region that includes the towns of Dartmouth and Westport, MA, and Tiverton and Little Compton, RI. Each summer SCA sponsors studio tours and next year the 20th annual SCA Open Studio Tour takes place on the weekends of July 15-16 and August 19-20. SCA also delivers each year educational events and grants for emerging artists.

The Holiday Exhibit is sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council and Mott & Chace/Sotheby’s Realty.
