Carolyn Mulvey is a plein air painter who enjoys capturing New England’s ever-changing landscapes and seascapes. Her work leans toward an impressionistic style, emphasizing the interplay of light and dark shapes in the landscape, as well as the unexpected spots of color that appear in nature. Through her use of texture, brushstrokes, and color, she aims to convey a sense of movement within the landscape. Carolyn earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting and continues to further her studies through classes and workshops. She exhibits her work in regional shows throughout the year, and her paintings are included in private collections.
