Dear South Coast Artists, As you know, Hurricane Helene blew through the southeast U. S. like no other storm, leaving wide swaths of unfathomable destruction. We see these images and videos and think, where and how do they start to clean up this mess and return their lives to normal? While the big picture may seem impossible, millions of small acts of kindness, while you’re one of the millions, opens up hope. We thought that we, as artists, could help our counterparts in these devastated communities. To slightly modify a saying, Home is where the art is. We found three legitimate arts organizations that are delivering disaster aid to artists who have been impacted.
