SCA’s Annual Members’ Invitational

The Members’ Invitational was juried by Michael Rose, gallery manager at the historic Providence Art Club, writer of the weekly "Inside Art" column for GoLocalProv.com, and publisher of the weekly newsletter, New England Art News. The competition was open to any member artist whose work was on view in this year’s exhibition.

SCA’s Annual Tour Art Contest

The Tour Art Contest was juried by Kevin Gilmore, an interdisciplinary artist, painter, experimental sound composer, and educator. The competition was open to any member artist who was registered to participate in the 2025 Open Studio Tour. Artists were invited to submit works on the theme of “A Breath of Fresh Air.”

South Coast Artists, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, educates, represents, and supports artists living and working in the coastal towns of Tiverton and Little Compton, RI, and Westport and Dartmouth, MA. Each summer SCA sponsors studio tours and this year the 22nd annual SCA Open Studio Tour takes place on the weekends of July 19-20 and August 16-17. SCA also provides educational events and grants for emerging artists.
