Dear Subscriber First Name I am writing to keep you informed of important news in South Cast Artists. We are having an amazing year! Since our annual meeting last fall, SCA has experienced unprecedented membership growth and artist participation. This year’s fully-paid, active, membership list now exceeds 175 artists. Participation rates in our activities clearly demonstrate that our all-volunteer organization is meeting the needs of artists in our region. We were stunned to see just how enthused our members are about this year’s Members’ Invitational. It filled to capacity within days. This reveals remarkable growth, as our Invitational was only introduced in 2017. Unfortunately, growth is often accompanied by growing pains. We were heartbroken to learn that some members are disappointed at being closed out of the Invitational. So last night, our Board met virtually, to discuss the situation and to seek a solution. We believe we can rearrange the space to accommodate additional members. It will be a tedious process of measuring and curating the limited gallery space, but worth the effort. We ask your patience as we reconfigure the entire set-up. If you are among those who were disappointed by being closed out of the exhibit, please sign up for the waiting list here as soon as possible.
