Welcoming Our New President

As we enter our third decade, we’re excited to create new ways to grow our membership and connect artists and audiences. Our flagship Open Studio Tours are what put us on the map, but did you know there are other ways to connect with the artists among us?

In addition to the Tour, SCA holds two annual group exhibitions at venues in the area, our Spring Invitational and Holiday Exhibition. Many of our artists can be found on our website, www.southcoastartists.org, no need to wait for the Tours or group shows, you can contact our artists directly. Another way we serve the art community is by providing an annual grant for emerging young artists who are still in school.

Holiday Exhibition Open Through January

South Coast Artists celebrates the holiday season with the 6th annual Holiday Arts Exhibit at the Dartmouth Cultural Center, located in the heart of historic Padanaram Village, at 404 Elm Street, South Dartmouth, MA.

The show continues through Jan. 6, 2024, 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. every Thursday and Friday, and 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday.

Discover the work of 56 SCA artists and 153 small works of art, priced affordably. Mediums include oil and acrylic paintings, watercolors, collage, sculpture, jewelry, fiber arts, wax encaustics, photography, and pastel.

Online shopping is available 24/7, with pickup at DCC during gallery hours.

The 6th annual Holiday Exhibit is sponsored by the Mass Cultural Council and Mott & Chace/Sotheby’s Realty.

South Coast Artists, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, educates, represents, and supports artists living and working in the coastal region that includes the towns of Dartmouth and Westport, MA, and Tiverton and Little Compton, RI. Each summer, SCA sponsors free studio tours. Next summer, the 21st annual SCA Open Studio Tour takes place on the weekends of July 20-21 and August 17-18. SCA also delivers educational programs throughout the year and grants for emerging artists.
