All works in the Spring Members’ Invitational Exhibit are available for purchase in person at the prestigious IMAGO Gallery in Warren, RI, from May 1–31, 2025.

This spring the exhibit features 66 artists showing 118 original works. Located at 36 Market Street, Warren, IMAGO is open for viewing Thursdays 12:00–3:00 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 12:00–6:00 p.m., and Sundays from 12:00–4:00 p.m.

This diversified exhibit features the artists’ finest works in oil, acrylic, pastel, encaustic, watercolor, metal, clay, wood, mixed media, photography and collage. All of the works will be for sale and awards will be given for the top three works.

IMAGO Foundation for the Arts began as a cooperative gallery founded and run by artists in 2003, becoming a federal nonprofit organization in 2007. The gallery is known for its high-quality exhibits, artist members, and commitment to arts education and performance for the surrounding communities.

 “The quality of the work exhibited this year is impressive,” says SCA President Stephen Remick. “The South Coast is a unique region that has been inspiring artists for generations. And, to be able to share these works at a place like IMAGO, is significant.”

The SCA Members’ Invitational Exhibition is supported, in part, through a grant from the Dartmouth Cultural Council and Westport Cultural Council agencies, and the Mass Cultural Council. It is underwritten by a grant from Westport’s Helen E. Ellis Charitable Trust and is also made possible, in part, by a grant from the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts.

South Coast Artists, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, educates, represents, and supports artists living and working in the coastal towns of Tiverton and Little Compton, RI, and Westport and Dartmouth, MA. Each summer SCA sponsors studio tours and this year the 22nd annual SCA Open Studio Tour takes place on the weekends of July 19-20 and August 16-17. SCA also provides educational events and grants for emerging artists.
