10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Stephanie Stroud will demonstrate how she paints with unspun wool by needle felting, mixing colors by carefully layering and creating texture and depth with color.

11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

David Poyant will demonstrate thread painting. All pieces done one stitch at a time.

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Carol Scavotto will demonstrate silk embroidery painting beginning with the creation of the design. She will then demonstrate the transfer to silk process, laying in the base coloring, and silk thread embroidery.

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Robin Nunes will demonstrate her specialty of oil painting with a palette knife. Robin is a professional whose art is a powerful interpretation of images she has captured from Key West to the quintessential coast of Padanaram. She has studied with, and been influenced by, artist Michele Byrnes.

2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Mary Monteiro will be demonstrating the steps she takes to complete a pet portrait, starting with an initial sketch, then blocking in colors, and putting the final details of the portrait in oil on canvas. She will also discuss her favorite materials, how to capture the pet’s expression and how she chooses color for the backgrounds.

3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Peter Turk will be demonstrating the methods he has developed for machining intricately themed pictures. He will display these techniques on making cards, which has evolved from making larger 3D pictures and how this technique can be used for jewelry making also.

10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Raquel Decosta will demonstrate planning the design, then applying to glassware with specialty glassware paint.

12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Carol Way Wood will discuss drawing animals in pencil in preparation for doing paintings in watercolor.

1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Marquelynn Raposa will demonstrate the process of encaustic using beeswax and heat gun. She will demonstrate a piece in process.
