Congratulations to
Jackson Palumbo, the Recipient of the South Coast Artists 2022 Youth Grant!

Jackson is a Junior at Tiverton High School. He will use the $1,000 grant on a self directed project to explore analog photography. He plans to take a darkroom workshop at Boston University, purchase different film stocks and developing materials so he can learn more about film and what it does. This will allow him to deliberately choose film stocks for specific subject matter. Through the SCA Youth Grant Jackson hopes to advance his photography skill set so his artwork can reach new heights, and to prepare for a potential career in photography.

South Coast Artists, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, educates, represents, and supports artists living and working in the coastal towns of Dartmouth and Westport, MA, and Tiverton and Little Compton, RI. Each summer SCA sponsors studio tours and this year the 20th annual SCA Open Studio Tour takes place on the weekends of July 15-16 and August 20-21.  SCA also delivers each year educational events and grants for emerging artists.
