Opening Reception Thursday, June 15th
with live music and refreshments

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of South Coast Artists, the annual SCA Members’ Invitational is taking place at the Sprout Gallery in Providence, RI from June 5-30, 2023.

This year the annual exhibit will feature 127 works by 59 SCA member artists. The opening reception will take place during Providence's Gallery Night on Thursday, June 15th from 5-8 p.m. Exhibiting artists will be on hand throughout the reception to answer any questions about the art on view. Live acoustic jazz will be provided by recording artist John Stein on guitar and Ed Lucie on bass. Beverages sponsored by Coastal Properties Group and light refreshments will be served until 8:00 p.m. Sprout is located at 166 Valley St., Providence, R.I.

The diversified show includes works in oil, acrylic, pastel, encaustic, watercolor, metal, clay, mixed media, photography, and collage. The SCA Invitational is presented by Mott & Chace/Sotheby’s Realty.

South Coast Artists, a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization, educates, represents, and supports artists living and working in the coastal towns of Dartmouth and Westport, MA, and Tiverton and Little Compton, RI. Each summer SCA sponsors studio tours and this year the 20th annual SCA Open Studio Tour takes place on the weekends of July 15-16 and August 20-21. SCA also delivers each year educational events and grants for emerging artists.
