Tour Kickoff Party!

The Tour brochures are being printed and we are excited for the 2023 art season! As we are celebrating our 20th year of our Open Studio Tours, we would like to invite you to celebrate with us at our Annual Kick-off Party!

This years’ event will be bigger and better than ever! ALL members are invited and encouraged to attend—whether or not you are participating in the tour. We will celebrate with the return of the pot-luck portion of the event and have an exciting evening prepared. We welcome you to bring your family and join us as the picturesque Weatherlow Farms located at 845 Sodom Rd., Westport on Wednesday, June 21st.

Social hour/dinner: 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Group Photograph: 6:45 p.m.
Program Begins: 7:00 p.m.

All members are welcome to attend. Please bring a food dish to share and piece of your artwork to have in our group photograph.

Keynote Speaker

This year, we are excited to welcome Mim Fawcett, director of the Attleboro Arts Museum, as our keynote speaker for the event. She will be discussing "Case Studies in Creativity" and will examine:

• How making art and sharing creative experiences can enhance quality of life
• The impact that art and culture can have in a community
• Developing the next generation of artists

Ms. Fawcett actively serves as a leader for the City of Attleboro’s Expo for the Senses and Winter Night Festivals – bringing thousands of visitors to Attleboro’s downtown for memorable celebrations of the arts. Additionally, she is a founding partner in the City of Attleboro’s Big Read, a National Endowment for the Arts literacy initiative, curating related exhibitions, conducting arts workshops and designing communications that expand the experience of connecting with great literature.  

She is a frequent guest juror for galleries, museums and arts organizations throughout New England – such as Galatea Fine Art Boston/New England Collective; Blanche Ames National Juried Art Show, and the Cape Cod Museum of Art's first juried exhibition, Breaking the Mold.
