Who We Are
South Coast Artists, Inc. is a non-profit arts organization encouraging and fostering artistic growth and recognition among Massachusetts and Rhode Island artists. SCA offers access to the work of visual artists living and working in the townships of Dartmouth and Westport, MA and Tiverton and Little Compton, RI, through its annual open studio tours and other creative events in the South Coast region. We provide opportunities to view art made within the community; to interact with local artists; to have access to artists’ creative working environments; and to encourage an appreciation and participation in the arts throughout this beautiful region. This exposure both educates the community and raises awareness of the diverse artistic experience available in the South Coast.
Eligibility
Any visual artist residing or working within the South Coast Artists Region is eligible. Any art gallery in the defined SCA Region may become a member. The SCA Region is defined by the Massachusetts townships of Westport and Dartmouth, and the Rhode Island townships of Tiverton and Little Compton.
Membership Dues
Annual dues are $25 for Individual Artist Members and $75 for Commercial/Gallery Members. All memberships will expire annually on December 31. Download the 2010 Membership Application.

About Open Studio Tour
SCA hosts TWO Open Studios Tour weekends! The first will be July 17 and 18, 2010 (11am to 5pm) and the second will take place on August 21 and 22, 2010 (11am to 5pm). All artists must be members.
(You may register for Membership at the same time that you register for Open Studio Tour. Artists may choose to participate in one or both weekend events. Studios must remain open for all tour hours.
